(1, Keri Windsor , 2, from NY Times)
1st Album listened to in the new flat;
Stars Die (1991 - 1997) disc 1 - Porcupine tree
I hung out at J&J's with Paul (he's interested in singing and playing guitar in "the new band." I like the name Llueve de Rana (Frog Rain.) i just like the ring of it.
i am so tired. It's like i moved house today or something. The move went well. I was all ready for the movers when they got there. And I had time to get the room spankin' clean. I was prepared to come back later if i hadn't had the time.
Moving had become second nature to me. Yo soy una Tortuga! (I am a turtle!)
DOMINGO
i woke up in the middle of the night and thought "you're at home, in bed." Then i opened my eyes and said "where the hell am i?" Then it kicked in. Yet another moving day.
Other than unpacking, there's nothing i really have to do. It seems like months and months and months since i've been in this situation. It really is the beginning of summer for me. I miss you all but i needed to do the fiscally responsible thing this year. Also, it's been 4 years since i've worked for a whole year.
Ice cold lemonade on a hot summer's morning is the best. Citrus. Vegetables. Cold food. It's all i really crave when it's so hot.
Music;
Magica - Dio
Can't Buy a Thrill - Steely Dan
The Who SIngs My Generation - The Who

Wolfmother - Wolfmother
So now Wall Street has written a letter to Obama and Congress, pleading for them to reach an agreement. Banks have warned of the dire consequences of a default. Allstate e-mailed 45,000 employees asking them to contact their local members of Congress and demand a deal.
Down with the Republican Party! I'd be fine with a Queen as well as a King. Queen Oprah? President Susan Sarandon? Keri Windsor? She was a porn star who now owns Allure Entertainment, California's top strippers/bachelor party company. Now there's a woman who understand business. Oh, and she's hot, so she might swing some of the GOP vote as well as i have read that Sarah Palin was largely picked in 2008 for her looks. Obviously it was not for her intellect or politically savvy. Or even better, maybe my sister. She is honest and hard working, even if she does lean a little more to the right than i do. And what a way to spit in Michelle Bachmann's eye!
Speaking of which, i'd like to introduce a new segment here;
BTO: Backmann (Voter) Turnout Override
July 30 - Smart Girls Back Backmann
Okay, that sentence makes no sense. But this from The Daily Beast blog, by Eleanor Clift;
Billing it as the first ever women’s presidential straw poll, nearly 300 conservative women activists cast their ballots in Louisville this weekend at the third annual Smart Girl Summit to give their favorite presidential candidates a boost.
Michele Bachmann came in first—no shock there—but it wasn’t the complete blowout many expected from an audience of conservative women. Entrepreneur and inspirational speaker Herman Cain finished a close second, underscoring that the women are looking for conservative grassroots leadership regardless of gender.
May the gods help us all! Louisville, bastion of democracy and an intellectual hub! Seriously?
But there's more;
What the Smart Girl Summit lacked in star power, it more than made up for in sisterly zeal and a host of state and local elected officials, mostly women, who spoke from the stage about battling for conservative values in a hostile political arena.
Which means that other than the keynote speaker, there was no one there worth mentioning! In other important news; Kevin, Pat and i have decided that Bill Clinton is now eligible for a third term. Bring back Bill!
PS. I am never coming back to live in the US.
