There is a general strike today. I should be able to get to Madrid on the Cercanias (the Train). And then the Metro will be running at 20%. People are protesting the Government cutbacks, but the government doesn't have enough money. So what do they do? They bring the capital to a standstill, making the recession worse. Brilliant. I don't have class til 14:00. There is one train every hour. I'll catch the 12:56. I have 5 hours of classes and they majority are private students who pay the same day. So i will be there come hell or high water.
